Christie’s, a world-leading auction house, owned a Creative Shelter Domination in the heart of Hong Kong to promote its curated auctions. The Des Voeux Road Central Bus Shelter situates across from HSBC Building and less than 150 metres from Christie’s Hong Kong headquarters in Alexandra House.
Selected pieces from the upcoming New York auctions, such as Warhol’s Marilyn and Heinz Tomato Ketchup Box, were prominently displayed in high fidelity. At the same time, the soft-glowing, illuminated shelter top signs of Christie’s wordmark distinguished the presence of the Creative Shelter Domination from its surroundings.
Christie’s refreshed the shelter in May to present a monumental exhibition of masterpieces by Bacon Francis Bacon and Adrian Ghenie, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The prime location of the Bus Shelter ensures the exposure of Christie’s brand and its auctions to the wealthiest individuals of Hong Kong, whose business activities and shopping habits create frequent visits to the district.
